As you’ve more than likely heard already, Benefit have brought out a brand spanking new mascara with a new age formula ready to bring the drama to our lashes. The Bad Gal Bang Mascara has kicked up a storm across the whole of social media with dramatic advertising and marvellous PR trips.
Described as out of this world, the Benefit Bad Gal Bang Mascara is supposed to provide a voluminous 36-hour long through its gravity defying formula that won’t weigh down your lashes. Benefit’s website claims that this formula is derived from aero particles – one of the lightest known materials to man; that’s created from space technology…. fancy! This formula also includes vitamin B5 which supports the natural lash length and thickness.
The mascara is pitch black and it really only needs to be applied once, however if drama is your end game – it can be layered beautifully without getting cakey or clumpy (and giving you 2008 style lashes) It’s smudge proof and water resistant which makes it a little hard to remove but it’s no biggy; just maybe takes an extra two minutes.
Benefit have said goodbye to the typical girly packaging we all know and love and instead, have went for a more bold, rock and roll type of vibe with a chic matte black component and a studded lid.
The thin brush allows application close to the lash line, gliding almost effortlessly across your lashes.
Undoubtedly, Benefit create some of the best mascaras on the market so it leaves you wondering why there’s a need to bring out another.
I really love the Roller Lash Mascara from Benefit so I wanted to see how they compared to each other.
Roller Lash is ideal for creating separated, long, but natural looking lashes – perfect for an everyday look. However Bad Gal Bang is the more dramatic, voluminous appeal. I don’t know how else to explain the comparison rather than roller lash is more of a hi type of vibe where as Bad Gal Bang is more of a HELLO.
All in all, I’m a huge fan of this and will be using it a lot more!
Thanks for reading! Let me know if you’re thinking of picking this up!
