2018 has crept upon us and left us wondering where on earth the time has gone. I can’t believe the first month of 2018 is over already, this year is going to fly by. I hope you all had a safe and happy New Years!
January means sales shopping and experimenting with new products gifted to us over the Christmas period so it’s no doubt that we will find some of the year’s staples within this month alone. Below I’ve rounded up some of the things I’ve been loving this month!
CHANEL – GABRIELLE.
This was a gift from Santa this Christmas and I’m loving how elegant it’s scent is. It’s a much more desirable fragrance than the typical Chanel No. 5 with a younger appeal. This scent had a ginormous hype around it as it was the first new scent that Chanel had released in fifteen years – it didn’t disappoint. The bottle is sleek and chic to match the gorgeous smell. Although it’s on the pricier side, I promise it’s worth it.
RIVER ISLAND – PARIS BY NIGHT.
This is a beautiful, everyday type of fragrance for when you don’t want to wear your luxury perfumes. It’s a classy scent with an affordable, high street price tag.
VICTORIA’S SECRET – VANILLA LACE
It’s great to have a body spray to hand in your bag or your car to freshen up throughout the day and to make sure you’re kept smelling gorge – this is my current favourite as the smell is so sweet and unique!
TOPSHOP KOWBOY BOOTS
There’s nothing I love more than a good pair of ankle boots to really tie my outfit together. I probably have enough pairs of boots to start a small shoe shop, however when I saw these gorgeous things in the Boxing Day Topshop sale how could I possibly resist?
Of course, I couldn’t stop at the black pair. After much deliberation I also picked up the white ones and I’m so glad I did!
A POP OF ROUGE
I love all black outfits as much as the next girl but sometimes I think it’s nice to add little bursts of colour every now and then to keep things interesting. One of my favourite shades right now is a hot red. Pair a red accessory with a bold red lip and your outfit just went from drab to fab.
SOAP AND GLORY SEXY MOTHER PLUCKER
Like Serena VanderWoodson once said, lipstick may last longer but gloss is much more effective. I’m not sold on the idea of having lip fillers so anything with plumping qualities in it gets a yes please from me! I love this one because it actually does work with minimal burning and it gives a gorgeous shimmery shine. I normally pair this on top of a nude liquid lipstick for a more glossy look. I’ve also had multiple people ask me if I’ve had my lips done when I’ve been wearing this so it for sure works like a dream!
I’m so sorry for being a little absent lately on my blog but I’ve been a little busy! This month I welcomed my baby boy into the world and he has been a perfect little bundle of distractions.
