Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog!
I’m so excited to be bringing you this review because as you probably already know by now, I’m a huge fan of Jeffree Star as a make up artist but also as a brand owner. He has recently released his collaboration with beauty vlogger, Manny MUA which I recieved in the post this week!
In this post I’ve reviewed the collaboration which consists of two liquid lipsticks and a skin frost highlighter. One thing I am such a huge fan of is the black packaging with the holographic detailing! I’m such a sucker for nice packaging and I love it when brands change it up for special events and collaboarations.
‘IM SHOOK’ – LIQUID LIPSTICK
This shade is a beautiful red toned coral shade. If you’re like me and you’re someone that never feels comfortable in a bright red lipstick – then this may be the perfect alternative.
The formula was the same as his previous lipsticks and they really do last all day. I can put one of these lipsticks on at the start of my day and only need to top up on the inside of my lips from drinking and eating, but the rest of the colour will last ’til evening.
Normally I would never pick out a shade like this but I’m so glad I did! Serving 90s burnt red realness and loving every second.
‘DADDY’ – LIQUID LIPSTICK
This one is a cool-toned medium brown/dark nude. Again, this colour is only slightly out of my comfort zone as I usually go for lighter colours, however I’m loving this one too! In regards to formula it applied the same as I’m Shook and it lasts on your lips all day!
A lot of fans have said that this shade is similar to his previous nudes so I’ve swatched it in comparison with two other nudes from his extensive collection.
Left to Right : Manniquin, Celebrity Skin, Daddy.
‘ECLIPSE’ – SKIN FROST
This is where it gets serious, I am absolutely, utterly obsessed with highlighting and it takes a lot to impress me. However, this is honestly the most blinding highlight I’ve ever used. If you’re looking to glow up to space and back then you’re going to love this one.
It’s an icy peach shade but it is a little glittery. When you swatch it on your hand it doesn’t translate well at all and comes across as chunky… however once packed on the cheek it is honestly stunning.
To apply this I use the Morphe 510! SHOP
Thankyou so much for reading my angels,
All my love x
