Finally Jeffree Star has released a brand new eye shadow palette! Since I was such a huge fan of the Beauty Killer palette from last year, ( read my review of the Beauty Killer Palette – here) I had to get my hands on this one! Whilst the Beauty Killer Palette was rather dramatic and outlandish – this palette is called the Androgyny Palette and it’s Jeffree’s version of a “neutral palette”.
This palette contains all the colours neccasary for a natural, more everyday style look but it also offers a selection of shades for those who like to live on the wild side every now and then.
These shades blend beautifully and are so pigmented I really think they could even be an improvement from the first palette.
From top to bottom the shades are:
Frosting: A really buttery, pale gold shimmer
Safe Word: This one is quite similar to my skin tone so it doesn’t show up too well on me but it does work as a light transition shade.
Charm: This is probably my favourite colour in the palette since I’m really loving all the oranges recently!
Deja Vu: The formula is again, really buttery and the pigmentation is beautiful.
Dominatrix: A matte brown shade.
Androgyny: Jeffree has a lipstick in the exact same shade so I knew I was going to love this!
Fetish: A vibrant red giving us all the Autumnal vibes.
Military: This is such a unique khaki green shade which I havent really seen in any other palettes, nor do I own a shade like this so I’m super excited to play around with it!
Poison: A matte blue shade.
Swallow: A darker shade of blue.
For this look right here I used the shades Safe Word and Charm as a transition shade and then I blended Fetish and Dominatrix partly into the crease but mostly over my outer corner and lower lash line. I then took Deja Vu on a wet brush and covered the remaining part of my lid. Then finally I used Frosting to highlight my inner corner.
Something a little more adventurous …
Again, I used Safe Word and Charm mixed together for a transition. I then added Poison into my crease and then swallow in my outer corner and across where I’d usually put a winged liner. To get the straight line I used tape! Across the lid is the shade Military. I then put Fetish and Androgyny across my lower lash line to seal the look together.

I deffinatly think that this palette is worth the money. I had so much fun playing around with it! It’s so easy to create an aray of different looks and step out of your comfort zone with new colours. I’d never really used a green before – or even considered it, but I really liked the way this one came out! This palette is a lot more neutral and wearable than the original Beauty Killer Palette so if you’re more into a neutral eye look this one would be more suitable!
Thankyou so much for reading!
